I’m totally addicted to writing this series and I know other people are getting addicted right along with me. The characters have me hooked. Gears, Pax, TL and Ip are forever changing and evolving in ways I never predict. Ruler and his demon army never stand still either.
The story unfolds as much to me as it does to the reader. I do know how it ends. I’ve always known, but I had no idea the complex and difficult path they would take. Initially I thought Hunter Wars would be a trilogy, but the more I explored their world, the more complicated and troublesome it became. I had and have no reason to truncate their journey and I won’t. I figure they’ll get to the end when they’re ready and they haven’t been yet.
Book five takes another step and more is revealed again. My guys remain as stoic and resilient as ever and they continue to lead almost without meaning to. The landscape keeps changing and Ruler is stepping where they least expect. Some of the scenes in the book genuinely bothered me and I relied on our Horsemen to step up to the plate. No plot spoilers though, you’ll have to read it. There more than a few surprises in store,
I hope you enjoy Right to Rule. I had a great time writing it.
I’ve given myself until June to write Book six but the plot has already mapped itself, so I wouldn’t be surprised if I release it earlier!
I absolutely loved the first chapter, it starts the book with a bang! Totally unexpected but it was like a guilty treat. I can’t wait to sink my teeth into the rest of it!
