I’ve been writing up a storm and Book Two of the Eden Lost series, Dead Alive is available on Amazon! It all got very interesting with the return of the hunters, and Gears is presented with a very different set of problems to deal with this time. The argument between our Horsemen and Ruler is heating up, and as usual he’s cheating!
It was fun to surface the demon super hunters again. They’re such a disaffected bunch of brats. This time the hunters also have a voice and they’ve turned out to be more than I expected. I never quite know what the next book will entail when I choose the title, but Dead Alive turned out to be spot on.
As usual, I’d love to hear what you think and please feel free to leave a review for the books. A lot more people are tuning into the series and it’s encouraging to see. I love these characters and their pragmatic way of dealing with a mad world, and I’m always delighted to know it’s not just me. We writers live in a vacuum of feedback. I see the series being read from end to end, but that’s almost all I know.
Now Dead Alive is published I plan to spend a month or so working on two novellas for The Locke Files. I’ll be re-editing that book to align it to my latest writing style and I have a couple of novellas planned, which I’ll release as one book. Did you ever watch the series ‘Quantum Leap’? That’s where I see Jack Locke heading. He’s a billionaire with nothing to do and I don’t think he’s the kinda guy who sits around doing nothing.
For as much as I’d love to hammer out the next book for Eden Lost, I think it’s best if I spend a month somewhere else. I’m planning to have Book Three, Battlefront, for the series out in early 2016. Usually if I take a short break, when I finally tune my brain back to the Horsemen, the story just unfolds without any effort.
