It’s hard to believe another year is almost done. Mine was mostly good, although I could have done without the severe bronchitis and shingles. The USA Today Bestseller for Navigator and an old/new house were highlights of the year!
The shingles chased the second bout of bronchitis last month and it put me a week or so behind schedule. The first Dead Force trilogy is in editing now, and we’re hoping to have it out by the end December/first week of January. It’ll be another Christmas of editing!
Splinter, which is book one of the Slipstream trilogy, is in editing as well. I’m tempted to finish the trilogy before releasing it. I’m a little torn. Dead Force has at least one more trilogy if not two, but I also want to finish Slipstream. So many stories and not enough time. ?
The upside of working my tail off in 2017 is I hope to have more time to write next year. I still have to replace my garage, build a garden writing room, landscape, and finish the decorating the house, but in between all of that I will be writing in 2018. I’m not planning to take on much other work next year, but I’m never sure what I’ll end up doing. I hadn’t planned to move this year and yet here I am living in a forest.
So, while the world goes madder by the minute, I think I’ll hang out in my tiny corner of it and write some even crazier stories!
In the meantime, it’s Christmas and I’ll be editing for the fourth year in a row. I hope wherever you are and whatever you’re doing you have a safe and happy Christmas. If you’re looking for a slice of good crazy, then keep an eye out for the Dead Force trilogy, which will be available in the new year.
Stay strong & be happy!
Ready for books 2 and 3. Bring it on
Will do, Alan! It’s Christmas Day and I’m editing, so it’s almost ready for release. Have a great day!
I can’t wait!!!!
Hope you had a great Christmas, Angel! Tag is on his way to you very soon, maybe even by the New Year. He’s a bit of a troublemaker! ?
