Merry Christmas, folks!
What a year. My partner had a serious bike accident mid-year; broke their spine (horizontal and vertical fracture of the T7). Luckily it was a stable fracture, but it derailed our year big time. Couldn’t go anywhere for the summer.
You’d think that would have given me time to write. It didn’t. My immune system collapsed again, probably due to stress (sigh), and it’s taken six months to get back on my feet. The whole COVID mask thing works for someone like me. I wear non-medical N99 masks, which has saved me from a range of nasty bugs.
Thanks to remote working I have returned to work full time. I’m enjoying my work, but it left no time to write.
However, I have lots of ideas and plot maps ready to roll, so next year I plan to get back to it.
But times are tight for many and Omicron has put some people into lockdown, self imposed or enforced, so I’ve put 3 boxsets down at 99c. If I can get the right marketing promotions, then I’ll lower the price on more.
I hope you’ve had a decent and safe year. Mine was exhausting. It was just one thing after another. I want to say 2022 will be better, but I don’t want to jinx it.
More stories will be coming in 2022. That’s a promise! I might even post work-in-progress chapters here just for fun.
