Okay, so we’ve published Killer Edge, but it can take a day or so to make its way through the Amazon process. Usually they’re pretty quick and a book can be available within four hours, but sometimes it takes a day or so. I just wanted to let you know that it’s published from our side.
The next book has the working title, Broken Arrow. That title will make sense once you’ve read Killer Edge. My gut feel is Broken Arrow will be the last in this series. I’m enjoying this team and good old Steve the Destroyer, but one of the reasons the books were shorter was that I wanted a fast paced, action-based, “take no prisoners” kinda tale.
I have an endless supply of mad ideas and equally wild characters, but there’s so many ways to tell a story that I’m experimenting and having fun with it. I love the complex dynamics of Hunter Wars and the speed of Navigator. The Locke Files is a single point of view and I enjoyed playing Jack. I have three books to complete the Hunter Wars saga and Navigator series before I get to move onto a new story. I’ll be taking a ten day trip across Texas in June while I ponder what comes next.
Even now I have a psychopath trilogy and a space war in mind. I haven’t spent my life with all these ideas bottled up inside of me, but I have wasted many hours wondering what happens when we take any concept to the extreme. As you may have guessed, I’m a natural born analyst and designer, so taking the known and pushing it into the unknown is kinda what I’ve always done.
