I took a short break to write 25,000 words for Eden Lost, Battlefront, and it was tough to tear myself away. It’ll be ready for release in a few months, but I wanted to finish the Navigator series first.
I’ve started the last book in the Navigator series, Broken Arrow. As you can guess, the story has led itself into a hell of a fight with the aliens. Steve has made a tactical error, but it remains to be seen whether it gives our team enough of an edge to win. It all comes down to the question of whether smart is fitter than stupid. Our team are smarter than Steve and his gang, but he has some good tricks thanks to the critters and his knack for espionage.
How far does trickery take you? By definition, trickery is all smoke and mirrors with no substance. If you call a trickster’s bluff what can he or she really do? Then there’s the question of cost. What’s the price of calling their bluff?
All good questions our team will have to answer if they’re to stand a chance of winning the war. I’m planning to get you the answers by May and then it’ll be back to Battlefront.
Now the weather is warming up, I hope you’ll enjoy the conclusion to the Navigator series. It’s a rollercoaster of action and wild situations. Although I feel guilty for not finishing Battlefront sooner, I’ve thoroughly enjoyed writing this series and I hope you’ve had fun reading it. The end is nigh and there’s some payback to be had!
As ever, thank you for staying with me and I’m always happy to hear from you. See you next month for the final book in this series. Here’s a peek of the last Navigator cover .
