SlipStream series on its way!

I apologize for being AWOL.  It’s been a messy three months.  I bought a house assuming it would be a “fixer upper”, only to learn it was a “falling downer”.  Even after two months of builders and repairs, I’m still installing lights, replacing doors, and finishing the floors.  Next summer I’ll be sorting decking, sheds and garages.  That all added up to me getting sick and I still am.

Despite the chaos, I managed to finish Book one, Sandman, of the Tag Chronicles series.  I’m just doing the last walkthrough before I send it to the agent in New York.  I won’t give out any spoilers, but I love where that story is going.

I’ve also almost finished Book one, Splinter, of the SlipStream trilogy.  This story has some complicated dimension shifting, which is making me cross-eyed!  I’ve never been convinced life is WYSIWYG (What You See Is What You Get).  I find it hard to believe the Universe is such a simple design.  The definition of time is complex.  Even if we apply WYSIWYG, between the clocks and our memories, we have a messy view of time.  I’ve always wondered what we can’t see and just how alone we are on Earth.

In SlipStream, the Space Corps is spearheading our domination of Earth’s galaxy, but they run into evidence of mankind on another planet.  One thing leads to another, and the 200 billion people on Earth are wiped out, but is it the end of the game?  Nope, not if Bridger has anything to with it.  He and his squad are the last people left alive, and it’s up to them to undo what was done.  I don’t want to give away any spoilers, but this is a complicated puzzle, complete with an alien civilization that must eradicate mankind to survive.

Please bear with me, I am working hard in too many directions, so I’m running a bit behind schedule.  Providing my health and home hold up, I plan to release SlipStream in 2 – 3 weeks.

My talented cover designer is ahead of schedule and she’s put together some terrific covers for us.
